Week 1: Reflection

  Many different types of materials stood out to me this week. As I read through David A. Bednar’s message on Your Whole Souls as an Offering Unto Him, I began to have a change of heart in some aspects of my life, especially my career. He spoke on how, as we strive throughout our education and our lives, we must be willing to do all we can to achieve success the best way we can, and not going down the path of least resistance. I believe this means that we must not take the easy road.  Throughout my life, I have always chosen the easiest path. From the moment I graduated high school to the day I returned home from my mission, I have been worried/ afraid of failing, and the road ahead. Not only that, but I’ve just wanted to get done with college as quickly as I can, without any regard for the knowledge and experience I'm getting.
