Week 4 Reflection

As I think back to what I've learned this week, I will say that I have found that there are many different types of things that I've learned that have stood out to me.  One of them is the video " Do what you Love". I found this to be interesting because it discusses the importance of passion and why pursuing our passions helps us become our best selves. Before I found my passion for landscaping, I had quite a few other hobbies or interests, such as acting and martial arts. However, none of them quite stood out to me, or looked like something that I wanted to do until I served on my mission and discovered my love for it.

Another one that I felt really connected with was the talk " Little Things are Important" by Elder Joseph B. Wirthlin. What really struck me was how it taught me how to develop a deeper connection, not just with myself, but with Heavenly Father and those around me. To be able to strengthen that connection, I need to look at all the little things in my life, such as the time that I spend reading or even exercising. Those little things in my life can make a big difference and can change the way that I see things. Not only that, but if I can manage my time better, I will be able to accomplish so much more, and my life won't be a big bundle of chaos.

The last thing that I feel connected to was the video " Take Control of Your Life". On this one, one of it's important aspects was on The Productivity Pyramid. This I found really helped me, because I like to look at it similarly to the Core Value Statements. By setting our beliefs and placing goals and tasks beside them, they can help you to get your life on track.
